Barry Cann

OCCMS Managing Director and Group Technical Director

Barry is an experienced business director, project manager and chartered engineer. He has a wealth of expertise in engineering, construction and commissioning and decommissioning, covering brown and greenfield projects. Barry has worked across a range of sectors including oil and gas (conventional and unconventional), renewable energy, mining, rail and nuclear industries and covers all levels of the supply chain from service provider to client.

Steve Drummond

Operations Director

Steve has a wealth of experience in oil & gas and petrochemical industries and gained a MSc in Project Management and has worked in a variety of locations internationally, both offshore and onshore. During this time he developed an excellent understanding and knowledge in working across the the World. He has been involved in projects from bid stage, full decision gate processes, through execution, including Commissioning, Start-up, and asset handover for both greenfield and brownfield projects.

Jamie Japp

Technical Director

Jamie has a proven track record of delivering brownfield modifications for top tier energy clients spanning 22 years. Jamie holds an MBA with Distinction in Oil and Gas Management. His focus is quality, cost, technical integrity, and assurance. With vast experience in leading technical delivery teams within the UKCS Brownfield C&C environment, he is responsible for ensuring energy clients receive best-in-class services to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery and start-up of assets

Craig Finnie

Orbit Product Manager

Craig is our IT systems and software development manager with an engineering background and experience in the energy, heavy industry, retail and dotcom sectors. Craig is responsible for the training, development and delivery of Orbit to our global client base.

Tony Davies

Associate Consultant

Tony is a degree-qualified consultant with forty years' experience in the fields of offshore and onshore oil and gas engineering, construction, completions and commissioning, hook-up and commissioning, overhauls, greenfield construction, brownfield construction, commissioning and start-up. Tony manages the detailed preparation and execution of commissioning, work scope development and execution, coordination of design, process engineering, construction, installation and commissioning.

Matt Hinkley

Regional Director - Asia Pacific

Matt is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in Engineering, construction, commissioning and asset lifecycle optimisation. He has worked in various sectors including mining, O&G, FMCG and Nuclear and is well versed with Maintenance Management Systems, Contract Management and planning. Having worked in extremely remote locations, he understands the need to plan things and have the right tools to do it.

Emma Smart

Senior Resourcing Coordinator

Emma has worked in the Recruitment industry for 10 years gaining experience in Project Controls, Construction and Professional Services. She is dedicated to grow OCCMS skilled talent pool to meet client expectations and demand.

John McWilliam FIRP

Project Manager

John’s O&G career spans over 30 years. Initially as a Planning Engineer, working for several major operators and EPC companies both on/offshore on brownfield and greenfield projects. Further assignments included comprehensive Ops/Maint & Shutdown experience. This network and experience accrued has enabled John to Manage and coordinate the resourcing of key global projects, primarily specialising in the resourcing of management and construction/commissioning disciplines.

Laura Brai

Project Controls Administrator

Laura Brai joins our team in Aberdeen with Post Graduate Project Management qualifications, Laura also has a background in administration, graphic design and logistics and will be supporting our OCCMS operations and commissioning team’s.” It has been a roller coaster journey moving with family from Finland to study and build a life in Aberdeen. Having now graduated, I am very grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn more about project delivery in the energy sector.
